TWO WHEELED
I've been going through some of my old images that I haven't done anything with yet and I'll be posting them selectively on here as I sort through them. YAY!
I've been quite intimidated to bike ride in seattle (I've done it once) because the bike I have here is fixed gear and the hills are mightier than the ones michigan has...heh heh. but i ran across these gems and they made me wish for warm weather and bike rides.

OH FEBRUARY
today if feb the first. i'm already feeling the gloom this month tends to bring unavoidable so.
february has for a long time now become the most depressing month of the year for me and a few others i know. every year i look back on this month and wonder if it is something that happened in particular that made this month so shifty, but no, every year, regardless of circumstance, the same feelings arise.
it's not as though good things are not happening. in fact there are many good things going on! it's my dad's birthday this month for example. i just got a job! in photography too...woot woot! i'm starting to like seattle. the new year holds so many opportunities and possibilities that are so grand and exciting.
but it must have something to do with this month being smack dab in the middle of winter, where you realize that as much as you enjoy the season, enough is enough. but you still have another 2-4 months of it to go (depending on where you live). thank God ceasar augustus was smart steal days to add to the month of august, a much more enjoyable time of the year. some think it was vanity, but i understand that he understood how necessary it was that february be shortened in order to insure the survival of the human race. thanks augustus! i gotchu!
so i have high hopes, or at least a little bit of hope (ok, actually very little), that these feelings will be overturned this year and february will once again climb into high graces. in fact, it is only the 1st of the month, there are still 27 days or so left for it to redeem itself. in fact, we should do something to change this ourselves! plan a vacation! spontaneous activities and good times! do things that we've never done before! meet strangers, climb trees! throw a party! do something grand! then post your 'make february great' efforts here or on your own blogs and together we can change the fate of february forever! whatdaya say?!
