YOUR BEATS ARE NICE
One of the best shows i have been to was Beck. Love this guy...(so weird that he's cousins with Hansen though right?) He is always doing stuff like this, puppets, now paper dolls! You can download your own paper beck pattern here.Also, I just read (via my mystery free Rolling Stone subscription that is almost up) that he is teaming up with some rad peeps including MGMT (who are also working on a new album!), to cover a classic album in one day. They will be releasing one song a week on beck.com for free!

this post is really random
I need a laptop! For all the traveling I do it is impossible to keep updated and keep working without one, perhaps I will have to part with my beloved iMac to get one :( but maybe it's time.
I am ready to be back in Seattle!
I wish I could take a tiny bit of humidity back with me, some flatlands for biking, lightning bugs, the beach, and some people that i love.
Time in Michigan is always nice. I have spent this trip paddleboating on the pond in our backyard, relaxing at the beach when it's hot enough to make you want to jump in the water and then getting sunburnt only in a circle on my left hip (strange right?), driving 70mph everywhere, and being informed by tommy that I should not use the term 'hick' so freely around the family in the midwest.
And most importantly...watching my sister get married and then leave home.
This week is going to be really good for me I think.

JULY
I barely ever use facebook.
People be bloggin real slow styles lately. Warm weather callin.
And twitter? world updates on your life at the tip of your fingers....i don't know bout dat yet.
All these internet ways of tracking people/things down, I every now and then have this intense urge to become obsolete on the web of the wide world. Kind of exhausting really, or else I am just real slow. Entirely possible.
Along this vein....I have deleted myspace. CRZY!
